Kiloh + Co.
Amanda Adamcheck built Kiloh + Co on a simple observation — game-day apparel did not have to look like game-day apparel. It could be chic. It could be wearable beyond the stadium. It could be the piece someone grabs on a Tuesday just because it feels right. That instinct, combined with a marketing background and a genuine community in Detroit, turned a creative outlet into a brand with a loyal following and a production program built for growth.
We produce the custom color-blocked sweatshirts and garment-dyed tees that define Kiloh + Co's signature look — 100% cotton, cut and sewn in Los Angeles, with each color panel engineered separately so the combinations land exactly as Amanda designed them.
The Brand — Game-Day Lifestyle Built on Thoughtful Color
Kiloh + Co is a Detroit story. The city's sports culture runs deep — and Amanda saw an opportunity to build apparel that honored that culture without looking like licensed merchandise. Clean silhouettes. Considered color combinations. Pieces that feel polished enough to wear to brunch and relaxed enough to wear to the game.
The color-block sweatshirt became the brand's signature piece — a 100% cotton crewneck where the body and sleeves are dyed separately to specific team or collection color combinations. Sky blue body with navy sleeves. Pale yellow with teal. Each combination designed to feel cohesive and intentional rather than obvious and commercial. That is the Kiloh + Co difference — it takes a sports reference and makes it something you would buy even if you did not follow the team.
"Game-day ready. Everyday wearable. Built on 100% cotton and the right color combinations."

What Essentials Made Produces for Kiloh + Co
The Kiloh + Co production program has two core products — the color-block crewneck sweatshirt and the garment-dyed tee. Both are built on 100% cotton and produced entirely through our Los Angeles network.
Custom color-block crewneck sweatshirt — body and sleeves dyed separately
Garment-dyed 100% cotton tees — oversized boxy fit, Pantone TCX matched
100% cotton fleece and jersey — PFD prepared for dyeing
Each panel dyed separately — exact Pantone TCX match per combination
Cut, sewn, and garment-dyed in Los Angeles — SB62 compliant
Detroit, Michigan — serving her community and beyond
The color-block sweatshirt is technically the most demanding piece in our production program. Each panel — body, left sleeve, right sleeve — is cut from the same 100% cotton PFD fleece and dyed separately to its own Pantone TCX target before construction. The panels are then assembled so the color combinations read cleanly at every seam. This process requires precise pattern engineering and dye house coordination that most manufacturers avoid entirely. It is exactly the kind of production complexity that Essentials Made was built to handle.
How the Production Partnership Works
Amanda comes to production with a clear brief — specific color combinations, specific team references, specific silhouette direction. Our job is to translate that brief into production-ready garments that match her vision without requiring her to manage the technical complexity herself.
Every color-block combination starts with a development sample — each panel cut, dyed to its Pantone TCX target, and assembled so Amanda can approve the color relationship before production begins. Color combinations that look right on screen do not always translate to fabric — the development sample is where we catch and correct those differences before they become production problems.
The garment-dyed tee program runs alongside the sweatshirt program — same fabric standard, same dye house, same quality control process. Both programs are built for reorders — the same Pantone TCX targets, the same fabric lot, the same construction specifications season after season.
FAQ — Custom Color-Blocked and Garment-Dyed Production
Can you produce color-block sweatshirts with custom panel combinations?
Yes — this is one of the most technically demanding things we produce, and it is a specialty of our Los Angeles program. Each panel is cut from the same 100% cotton PFD fleece and dyed separately to its own Pantone TCX target. The panels are then assembled so color combinations read cleanly at every seam. Development requires a sample for each color combination before production begins — this is how we guarantee the finished garment matches the design intent.
How do you ensure color consistency between panels on a color-block garment?
Each panel enters its own dye bath with its own Pantone TCX target and is approved separately before assembly. We do not move into production until every panel in a combination has been approved against its target. This process adds time to development but eliminates the most common color-block problem — panels that are close but not right when assembled together.
What is the minimum order for a custom color-block sweatshirt?
Custom color-block production follows our standard Capsule Run minimums — 50 pieces per style when two or more styles share the same base fabric. Because color-block panels require separate dye runs, each color combination is treated as its own development project with its own sample approval. Contact us to discuss your specific combination program and we will guide you through the production planning.
Can I build a city or team-specific capsule collection?
Yes — this is exactly the Kiloh + Co model. Team or city-specific color combinations on a consistent 100% cotton crewneck silhouette, reorderable by combination. Each colorway is developed as its own sample, approved, and added to your production program. Over time you build a library of approved color combinations that can be reordered without restarting development.
Building a Brand Like This?
Kiloh + Co is proof that the most compelling independent brands are built on a specific point of view — not a generic product. If you have a clear aesthetic, a community that trusts your taste, and an idea for a production program built around custom color, we want to hear about it.
